lost

i seem to have fallen right off the face of blogland. i haven't been writing or reading at all. probably due to a few things, taking a step away from infertility, nothing much to say, and construction craziness that is going on at my house which leaves my computer out of the way. i can really only use it on my bed right now because our living room is all torn up, so i haven't been on very much. so, i'm trying to catch up on all of your news.

so far, my hcg levels have been steadily dropping. last week it was 300 or so, and i have another check tomorrow. i talked to the nurse about getting insurance approval for our next cycle and fitting one in before the end of december and she was all about it. then she called back and said the doc wants me to wait until mid december to start a new cycle. which would ruin our trip to disney with my whole fam in january. we also found out that all of our testing expires in december, so if we wait until then, we have to repeat all our labs, SA and do a sonohystogram. damn. i'm waiting to see what my hcg is tomorrow and then i want to fight to start mid november instead (this will still give is 2 months off from the mtx shot)

I am so sorry. I think your RE should let you start when you are ready. You fight girl! Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. (((HUGS)))

Hope you can get started when you are ready, without delay...I know the feeling! I don't want to ruin the holidays with bloat and injections, either; I want to have a cycle (for better or for worse) over and done with!

If you have to wait, give yourself permission to take time off, and do something nice for yourself. And if you get to start in November...do something nice for yourself anyway!

I'm sorry, I'm in that HCG-dropping wait now too. Waiting for it to hit zero before they'll let me do a saline sonogram and get started. I've been stalking my nurse the past 24 hours, trying to move up my bloodwork so I don't lose a cycle too. Keep after them! It's your cycle, not theirs - you should be able to start in November!

Ugh -- it sounds like you have more than enough with the construction to keep you busy, but keep on the RE so that you are sure to get in a cycle if that's what you decide you want. Part of the drag of this is that no one is your advocate except, well, you. Good luck.

Hang in there! I hope you get to do your cycle soon. I know the feeling of wanting to get started back again as soon as possible. Hopefully your doctor will understand.

I can understand bloging dry spells. Do what you need to do and know that the community is always here when you need it.

I'm so sorry for what you are dealing with. I really, really hope that things turn around for you very soon.

If I could email you chocolate I would do so.

You're going through the wringer, but remember how much we all are willing you to be successful. Give it time. And in the meantime, don't beat yourself up about not blogging. Let someone else take the strain of baring their soul to the masses. Just rest up and look after yourself.

Take a tip from the in-flight handbook: "In the event of an emergency oxygen masks might drop from the ceiling. Remember to always put on your own mask before helping anyone to attach their own." Allow yourself to just focus on you for a bit. :)

Now, if I can just jam this chocolate bar into the USB port it might make it to you...[iChoc?]
